On December 11 in midtown Manhattan, Esquire and chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Four Twenty Five restaurant came together to celebrate Esquire’s 2024 Best New Restaurants list and one year of Four Twenty Five. We toasted to another year of delicious and inventive dining and the talented chefs across the country who make it all happen. Many esteemed guests came out to celebrate with us, including Esquire’s Chef of the Year, Yia Vang; Esquire’s Beverage Director of the Year, Victoria James; Rising Star of the Year Johnny Curiel (from Alma Fonda Fina in Denver); Martha Stewart; Chef Morimoto; and Eric Ripert.
